Math and Science

For several years, I was the Math and Science teacher for two second grade sections in addition to teaching Religion and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) for my homeroom. While math was never my personal strength, I tried to use this as motivation to make sure my students never felt the same frustration as I did in my own learning. Science, on the other hand, is a passion and strength of mine, and so I relished leading students in discovering the fascinating aspects of our environment. In both math and science I introduce topics with examples, clear descriptions and allow students the opportunity to interact with the subject through learning centers, experiments, creation of projects, and more!
