Faith Formation

One of my favorite things about teaching second grade in a Catholic school was supporting my students on their faith journey through the sacraments of initiation! My religion lessons tend to follow a pattern: start of with prayer through song where students listen to and then sing along with (if they are comfortable) a classic or modern piece of Christian music, introduce the topic of the day, discuss to scaffold critical thinking, and complete an assignment for students to interact with the material.
